FAQs

Here are some frequently asked questions. Feel free to contact us with any further questions.

What should a student wear for a performance?

Acceptable dress for performances such as Christmas concert and the festival is a must.  No running shoes please. Choose footwear that moves quietly on the stage. Low heels.

NO BLUE JEANS unless it is part of the character performance for a scene.

Girls grade 7 and up MUST wear an ankle length dark skirt or dress pants. Leggings or tights are not acceptable dress for performances.

Is it necessary to wear a costume for a solo scene or duologue?

A suggestion of the character in costume will add to the overall performance. It is important to have costumes (if required) ready two lessons before the festival performance, as it is important to practice in your costume BEFORE your main presentation.  Remember, it is the quality of the performance that really counts….not the costume.
